However, rolling out new data services is extremely complex, and service quality has been very poor. To improve service quality, carriers must know what's going on with their data services, how's the customers' perception and their satisfaction, where is the root cause of the problems in the equipment chain involved in providing the service.
Introducing the Theta Networks MSP Systems
MSP is designed to capture and analyze mobile data traffic in real-time. MSP has a specialized data processing engine to handle huge amount of data in real-time, and provide the insight about the data services nobody else can provide in the market.
In MSP, we have combined our innovative service model with our research-based mobile key quality indicators and key performance indicators algorithms. In addition, MSP includes our sophisticated trending and broad reporting capabilities. The result is an outstanding tool for Quality of Service (QoS) monitoring, problem resolution, reporting, and comprehensive Service Level Agreement (SLA) management.
MSP support multiple interfaces, including Gn, Gi, and Gw (what we called content server interface such as MMSC and WAP GW). Currently, MSP is deployed with a single interface, but future upgrades will enable MSP to support multiple interfaces simultaneously.
MSP can be deployed in the network by using standard SPAN Ports or network TAP technologies. It is a non-intrusive deployment which doesn't affect the normal services.

Robustness: The MSP server program can run 24/7 on the mobile operator facility without disturbing the client's other services.
Storage capacity: As the MSP is meant to be used for long periods, the database server is able to store large amounts of data on different kinds of database systems (Oracle and MySQL).
Efficiency: MSP is able to deal with the entire customer's traffic due to its high performance capturing routines.
Accessibility: The client application can connect to the database server and the probe server from any point of the customer's network and/or from the internet.
Security: Each connection to the servers is secured so server access does not endanger the customer's data confidentiality.
