São Paulo, Brazil and Holmdel, U.S., December 17th, 2008 – Theta Networks, the leader in Deep Packet Inspection for mobile data OSS, today announced one milestone in its growth and market coverage: the opening of an office in São Paulo to cover the Latin American market.
The Latin American branch will be headed by Chahram Zolfaghari, GM for Latin America. Zolfaghari brings to Theta Networks 13 years of experience in the wireless consulting industry. Most recently serving as president and managing director for Wireless Facilities, Inc. (WFI) Latin America, Zolfaghari helped turn that division profitable before being acquired. He has held various management positions in the U.S., Europe and Latin America with MSI, eWS (acquired by Tetra Tech) and WFI throughout his career.
Zolfaghari holds a Master of Science in electrical engineering from the National Institute of Telecommunications in Paris, France and from Eurecom in Sophia Antipolis, France. He obtained his Ph.D. in signal processing from Orsay University, France.
