To provide MMS/WAP performance optimization to our partner company.
Qualifications and experience needed for this position:
1. Excellent knowledge of WAP/MMS protocol
2. Thorough understanding of WCDMA/GPRS/CDMA network technology and equipment
3. Familiar with protocol analyzers such as K12, Nethawk, Ethereal
4. Knowledge of programming (C, VB) and database (Oracle, Access, SQL)
5. Cisco certification (CCNA, CCNP or CCIE)
6. Experience in customer services or technical support
7. Project management skills to lead the performance improvement project
Key tasks:
1. Analyze end-to-end MMS/WAP performance and propose solutions to enhance the performance
2. Use of Theta Networks advanced end-to-end MMS/WAP optimization software (MMSMAX/WAPMAX) to reach the most optimized network performance
3. Analyze the MMS/WAP equipment statistics
4. Report software bugs or performance improvement features in the MMSC and WAPGW platform
5. Promote the performance improvement services to the operator in order to generate further sales for our partner company
6. Be flexible in terms of time availability and travelling
7. Provide competence transfer to other engineers
