To provide advanced NSS optimisation services to the operator through our partner company.
Qualifications and experience needed for this position:
1. Excellent system knowledge (GSM, GPRS, IN, SS7 signaling)
2. SS7 troubleshooting and parameter tuning
3. SS7 protocol analyser (Nethawk / K1205)
4. A-interface signaling analysis
5. Measurement and statistical tools: Traffica & Network Doctor
6. NSS equipment (DX200 platform) and solutions
7. Presentation skills
Key responsibilities:
1. Provide NSS optimisation services with the aim of improving network KPIs.
2. Promote the optimization service to the operator in order to generate further sales for our partner company.
3. Create an image of "value-adding NSS optimization services".
3. Be flexible in terms of time availability and travelling.
4. Provide competence transfer to other NSS optimization engineers.
Key tasks:
1. NSS optimisation with a special focus on SMS, A-interface analysis, SS7 parameter settings and troubleshooting
2. Improve operator KPIs (long distance call connect rate, SMS delivery success rate)
3. Competence transfer for NSS optimization to other engineers.
4. Active participation in the external and internal meetings.
