To provide GPRS/WCDMA core and application performance optimization to our partner company.
Qualifications and experience needed for this position:
1. Excellent knowledge about GPRS/WCDMA core network technology and equipment
2. Experience with GGSN, SGSN and firewall (CheckPoint, NetScreen, Pix)
3. Familiar with protocol analyzers such as K12, Nethawk, Ethereal, MMSMAX, WAPMAX
4. Knowledge of programming (C, VB) and database (Oracle, Access, SQL)
5. Cisco certification (minimum: CCNP, best: CCIE)
6. Experience in customer services or technical support
7. Project management skills to lead the performance improvement project
Key tasks:
2. Collect and process performance statistics
2. Use of Theta Networks advanced end-to-end optimization software (MMSMAX/WAPMAX/VirusGuardMAX) to reach the most optimized network performance
4. Report software bugs or performance improvement features in the core network elements
5. Promote the performance improvement services to operator in order to generate further sales for our partner company
6. Be flexible in terms of time availability and travelling
7. Provide competence transfer to other engineers
